One Owner from New!
1969 Corvette L46 350HP 350 4-Speed
54,500 miles, Highly original with one quality repaint
Numbers matching Engine and Transmission
This beautiful C3 Corvette was purchased new by the owner on March 5, 1969. He traded his 1966 Ford in on it. It has always been properly maintained these past 51 years. It has gone through several brake caliper rebuilds over the years as expected with a rebuilt set being installed recently along with a new master cylinder and hoses. In 2001 he had local Corvette expert Cliff Hall refinish the car in its original Le Mans blue lacquer. The paint is still in excellent condition. Replacement carpet was also install at a earlier date. The car never suffered from accident damage so it is a "no hit" body. The engine is in excellent condition with a little over 54,500 mile on the clock. It retains all of the original air pump components and the engine has never been apart! The transmission shifts properly and the 3:55 positraction rear axle is quiet. The exhaust does need some attention however as one of the Midas replacement muffler has a rust hole. The tires are getting pretty old as well and should be replaced before much driving. The seat back on the passenger side has a hole punched in it from a time when it was loaned to his roommate in the early days. The weatherstrip is still original and showing its age. We have the original dealer invoice, registration, Car Shipper (pictured), and original loan paperwork. We also have a pile of maintenance receipts. This is the perfect car for a serious Corvette enthusiast to enjoy and pamper. We would like to see it go to a good new home.
